Welcome back to the second half of the spring term.
This half term will be learning all about Ancient Greece. As part of this topic, we will be making a clay pot so be prepared to get your hands dirty.
To make sure you are as prepared as possible for your SAT’s, we will continue with our extra Maths and English lessons and also add an extra revision session in every week. You will have your revision books to use in school and at home, but please make sure that they are in school every day.
We have a visit to Shire Oak arranged this half term along with World Book Day activities and more. The date’s section will be updated regularly so keep checking to make sure you don’t miss anything.
Mrs Beddard (Team Leader and Class teacher 6B),

A few reminders to help make the remainder of the year more successful:
PE Kit - Indoor and outdoor kit must be in school every Monday and go home every Friday to be washed. (Don't forget your spare socks)
Water bottles must be transparent and in school daily.
Please have the correct change to pay for your toast and bagels.
English and maths homework will be given on a Friday and must be handed in the following Tuesday/Wednesday. Spellings will be given on a Wednesday and must be handed in the following Monday. Occasionally this may change but we will make sure that you record this in your link books.
We ask that parents check and sign the home/school link books weekly as we will inform you of assessments results and any other important information regularly. Please do ask any member of the team if you have any concerns or queries and we will be happy to help.
