Welcome back after Easter! We hope you have had a lovely holiday. We are now entering the final term of the school year and the summer term is very busy. Please check the calendar for future events and we will also send home letters about up and coming events.
This half term year 1 and year 2 will have PACT workshops, class photographs will be happening at the beginning of May and we are taking KS1 on a trip to Cannock Chase on 9th May. A reminder that payment and lunch choice forms need to be returned to school by Monday 30th April. Year 2 will also be completing some SATS assessments.
Curriculum overviews will be sent home during the first week which will explain what your child will be learning this half term.
Important reminders for Year 1 and 2
PE kits will need to be back in school by Monday 16th April and we will send them home again when we break up for the May half term holiday. A reminder that PE days are Mondays and Tuesdays and earrings need to be removed for PE lessons.
A reminder that we expect children to read at home at least once a week and this needs to be recorded in the link book. We will change home reading books on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays and children are responsible for handing in their reading books to be changed.
Homework is sent home on a Friday and it needs to be handed in no later than the following Wednesday. For Year 2 children who do not hand in their homework, the children will miss Thursday lunchtime play to complete the homework.
