Hi Year 6!

Welcome back to the final week of maths before the half term break next week. First of all, thanks to all those of you who sent me a graph from Friday's lesson. Here are your cumulative line graphs:

Cumulative line graphs

Cumulative line graphs 1 Anton
Cumulative line graphs 2 Clemmie
Cumulative line graphs 3 Evie
Cumulative line graphs 4 Freddie
Cumulative line graphs 5 Georgia
Cumulative line graphs 6 Josh B
Cumulative line graphs 7 Josh Hill
Cumulative line graphs 8 Kirsty
Cumulative line graphs 9 Lydia R
Cumulative line graphs 10 Oliver
Cumulative line graphs 11 Owen
Cumulative line graphs 12 Sam

We are going to continue our main topic of statistics, concentrating for a few days on a new type of graph: scatter graphs.

Here is a video I've done for you to introduce you to these graphs:

Your task, as explained in the video, is to draw a scatter graph showing the link between the amount of rainfall, and the number of umbrellas sold by a shop. Here is the data you need to draw your graph:

You can draw your graph in your maths book. Here's a learning objective which you can use:

You can send me any pictures you have of your graphs to the usual email address:

Good luck, and thank you for doing this lesson.

Mr M.
