Hi Year Five,
How are you all? Hopefully you’re feeling relaxed and refreshed after the holidays. I’m looking forward to working with you all in Year Six come September.
I last worked with some of you in Year 1/2 so some of you will be familiar to me, however let me tell you a little about my role as a teaching assistant. I will be working with many of you alongside your class teachers in your English and Maths lessons and in small groups for support, alongside teaching you French and Music this year. I will assist you, along with the learning you will experience in your lessons with Mrs Beddard, Mr Martin and Mrs McDermott. I always expect children I work with, whether in the classroom or in small groups, to always work hard and give the best of their ability – in return I will give you the best support that I can. After all, no one can give any more than 100%. There will be times during the year that you will find tough, but if we all work together you can achieve great things.
I would see myself as relaxed, easy going and approachable. I am always up for a laugh (at the best of times!). After all, school is about enjoying yourself as well as learning. Anyone who knows me knows my love for music and sport (in particular, the best team in the world – Wolves), so I’m always up for a football chat! Further, I love to listen to your stories/achievements and what you do outside of school.
Enjoy the summer holidays., look after yourselves and see you shortly,
