1 more school wake-up to go!

Good morning Year Six,

Thank you to those who sent me their spelling scores yesterday and Science tests. How did you get on creating the wordsearches? Did you manage to challenge any adults at home by asking them to find the answers? it was nice to hear that so many of you completed some reading for pleasure too. I'd like you read for another ten minutes today (don not forget to colour in the block on the Reading Chart in your link book!)

I have planned for today and tomorrow’s English lesson to be a little more relaxing as I realise you have worked so hard the past few weeks. I also thought it would be nice to start thinking about Bonfire Night now that the evenings are beginning to darken and the trees certainly look autumnal!

Your task today is reading comprehension. You can select the appropriate level of difficulty to suit, but I would expect many of you to choose the three star option.  Either print off the work or read it online and answer on paper.

Do not be tempted to look at the answers before attempting all questions!

I’d like you ALL to email me your results and you can even attach a photograph of the completed work too.
