Focus of study - British History

The children are introduced to the idea that people from other societies have been coming to settle in Britain for a long time. They consider the effects of the invasion and settlement of the Romans on Britain through historical enquiry using artefacts. In addition to this the children learn about the lives of different types of people living in these eras (Julius Caesar, Emperor Claudius and Boudicca) and learn how these people influenced this era.

 

Focus of study - Local History

Children investigate how Pelsall has changed over time and with particular focus on the mining industry.
